A renowned manufacturer of luxury recreational motor yachts for 70 years, Grand Banks Yachts Limited (also "Grand Banks" or "GB") was initially established in 1956 as American Marine Ltd, Hong Kong. After expanding its production with the opening of a factory in Singapore in 1969, the company was incorporated there in 1976 in conjunction with a change in management. In 1987, Grand Banks became a public listed company and its shares were traded on the SESDAQ board of the Stock Exchange of Singapore under the name of GB Holdings Limited. In 1993, the Company was upgraded to the Main Board and the listed name was changed to Grand Banks Yachts Limited in 2004. The Group manufactures yachts under the Grand Banks, Eastbay and Palm Beach brands out of its manufacturing yard at Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia. The Group provides new boat sales, brokerages and support services out of its water facilities in the USA and Australia. The waterfront facilities in the USA are at Stuart, Florida, San Diego,California and Newport, Rhode Island. Australia waterfront facilities are at Newport, New South Wales and Coomera, Queensland.
