Our dividend data method

Maintained by Dividends.sg · Method and data-state wording reviewed 19 September 2026

The site calculates a reported figure only when its inputs are present and internally usable.

TTM yield = eligible cash per share over the last 12 months ÷ current share price × 100%

Dividend totals

For a year, we select records by ex date from 1 January through the earlier of 31 December and today. We include records labelled dividend or interest. Other corporate-action types are kept as source data but are not silently counted as cash dividends.

Trailing twelve months

TTM uses Singapore dates after the same calendar date one year ago and up to today, including today. Each eligible cash amount is converted to the stock’s quote currency using the available currency rates before it is added. TTM yield is that total divided by the current share price. Confirmed distributions paid in shares or units are shown in the history but excluded from the cash total.

For example, cash payments of SGD 0.20 and USD 0.10 would total SGD 0.33 if one USD were worth SGD 1.30. At a current price of SGD 10, that total would give a TTM yield of 3.30%. This is an illustration, not a current quote or exchange rate.

If an amount, currency, rate or price is missing, the relevant total or yield is shown as unavailable. A missing value is not treated as zero.

For an event with multiple cash options, we use the explicitly published Cash Option 001 when available, otherwise the declared rate. Alternative currency or share elections are not added together. Your selected election may differ; check the original event for its terms. Separate official event references remain separate even when their dates or amounts match.

We use available current exchange rates, not historical payment-date rates. Annual DPS divided by today’s price is therefore not your investment return. Coupon or preference-share rates are terms of an instrument and are not substituted for a cash TTM calculation. Ordinary and special payments are classified only when the source wording identifies them; unclassified amounts remain labelled as such.

Records under review

UnavailableAn input is missing; the total is not calculated.
Known zeroAvailable inputs produce zero; it is shown as zero.
Under reviewSource identity is incomplete; affected totals remain withheld.

If records have matching amounts and dates but their source identity is incomplete, the affected total and yield are marked Under review. All source rows remain visible. Matching values alone do not prove that two records should be merged; separate confirmed references and ordinary or special components remain separate.

Portfolio estimates

A holding's estimated market value is its current share count multiplied by the recorded price. Dividend estimates multiply the current share count by a verified final gross per-share amount using decimal arithmetic. Missing evidence, an overdue source check or unresolved event identity leaves the estimate unavailable. SGD conversions require current exchange-rate evidence from an administrator review; a known original-currency estimate can remain available when FX is missing. The portfolio groups these estimates by payment date and separates upcoming announcements from historical reference estimates. Historical holdings, eligibility, fees, tax and receipt confirmation are not available to this calculation.

Dividend estimates are converted to SGD using fresh, reviewed exchange-rate evidence and rounded to whole units for display using decimal arithmetic. Each conversion shows its source and time. Per-share amounts retain their source precision. Missing or unverified cash amounts, source checks, identities, currencies or rates leave affected totals incomplete. A zero requires verified inputs; a missing value never becomes zero. Market-value figures use the separately recorded share prices.

Dates and updates

Dates are displayed as recorded in the source row. The database may contain future events announced by an issuer; they remain visible in event detail while year-to-date totals stop at today.
