Definitions & sources

Basic earnings per share is calculated by dividing the consolidated profit after tax attributable to the equity holders of the Company by the weighted average number of ordinary shares outstanding during the financial year.

Diluted earnings per share amounts are calculated by adjusting basic earnings per share by the weighted average number of shares that would be issued on conversion of all dilutive potential ordinary shares into ordinary shares. At 30 June 2026, diluted EPS includes the effect of 6,576,203 unissued ordinary shares granted under the 2024 Civmec Performance Rights Plan because the performance targets are likely to be met; the effect is dilutive. The corresponding 2025 amount is 6,089,000, also dilutive.

Header quote: “2026 2025” and “A$’000 A$’000” for the amounts in A$’000. Share counts and per-share amounts have their units printed in their row labels.
