The Company is the listed vehicle of the Shangri-La Group. Its Singapore subsidiary, Shangri-La Hotel Limited, was delisted from the SGX-ST on 23 February 2001. The principal activity of the Company is investment holding. The principal activities of the Company's subsidiaries are the ownership and operation of hotels and associated properties and the provision of hotel management and related services. The Company's subsidiaries are also the registered proprietors of various trademarks and service marks in various countries, including the brand names "Shangri-La", "Traders", "Rasa","Summer Palace" and "Shang Palace".
