The Company was incorporated in Singapore on 13 November 2009. The Company and its subsidiaries (the “Group”) produce crude palm oil (“CPO”) and palm kernels in Indonesia. The Group’s oil palm plantation is located in West Kalimantan where, the Group believes, the climatic conditions are suitable for oil palm cultivation. The Group’s primary business is in the cultivation of oil palms, harvesting of the fresh fruit bunches (“FFB”) from the oil palm plantation, and processing the FFB (together with purchased FFB) into CPO and palm kernels which are sold domestically within Indonesia. As at 30 September 2009, the Group holds Hak Guna Usaha (a right over land allowing the exploit, use or cultivation of land covered by such right in Indonesia) to 16,079 hectares (“ha”) of oil palm plantation land of which approximately 11,381 ha are under cultivation, including land cultivated pursuant to the Cooperation Agreements under the Plasma Programme with local farmers. As at 30 September 2009, the Group’s palm oil mill has a FFB processing capacity of 60 tons per hour.
